SCSU Falls to Harding in Final Seconds

The St. Cloud State University men's basketball team came up short on Saturday, losing 61-60 to Harding University.

The game was close every step of the way. The Huskies held a 32-31 advantage at the half. After battling through the majority of the second half, SCSU had a 60-59 lead with 59 seconds to play. They gave up two free throws to the Bison and then missed a buzzer-beater layup attempt.

Andrija Blatancic led the team with 20 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal. Anthony Roberts finished with 10 points, and Trevon Marshall added nine.

The Huskies fall to 0-2. They will be back in action on Tuesday when they will look to get their first win of the season against Oak Hills Christian College at home. Pre-game starts at 6:30 p.m. on AM 1390 Granite City Sports.
