The St. Cloud State baseball team has gone from being middle to bottom of the pack in the conference standings to a powerhouse in Division II. Head Coach Pat Dolan is in his 4th season at SCSU and the Huskies may be the #1 seed in Central Region when the pairings are announced this weekend.  I give Dolan a ton of credit for taking the great high school talent in Central Minnesota and convincing them to stay in St. Cloud.  Those efforts have turned into success on the field and fan interest is even increasing.  Dolan won 27 games in 2008, 36 in 2009 and 41 in 2010.  He has won 39 already this season.  Dolan has also reached out to the media, has formed solid relationships with high school coaches and has connected with the St. Cloud River Bats.  This is likely to be the best SCSU baseball team in school history and fans will likely see some of the best Division II baseball in the Central Regional next weekend.
