Sartell Dominates In Win Against Apollo

Apollo Eagles 14, Sartell - St. Stephen Sabres 42

Sartell - St Stephen -- At halftime time the score was 7-28 in favor of Sartell.  Sartell's first drive in the third quarter did what they set out to do and that is to drive the ball down the field and score.  They scored on a 3 yard run by Devin Douvier to make the score 7-35.

The struggles that plagued Apollo in the first half continued into the second half.  Their first drive of the second have did not go as they envisioned.  As they were unable to move the ball down field.

No one scored until the beggining of the fourth quarter when Douvier scored on a 11 yard touchdown run to make the score 7-42 in favor of Sartell.

Late in the 4 quarter Apollo finally got back on the scored board for the first time since the first quarter with a 27 yard touchdown run by Clayton Hoeper to make the score 14-42.

Apollo's quarterback Joey Atkinson finished the game 10-16 for 85 yards and had 0 touchdowns and 1 interception.  With the lost Apollo moves to 1-7 to finish the regular season.

Sartell's quarterback Chris Belling finished the game 9-14 for 216 yards and had 1 touchdown and 0 interceptions.  With the win Sartell moves to 3-5 to finish the regular season.
