The Los Angeles Angels beat the Twins 5-4 Tuesday night in Southern California. Minnesota falls to 20-44 with the loss.

Ervin Santana lasted just five innings for the Twins, allowing five runs on ten hits while striking out just one batter. Santana fell to 1-7 on the season, and the Twins are now 1-11 in games started by him overall.

Joe Mauer got on base for a 26th consecutive game and was 2-5 with a triple.
