Rox Drop Opener In Waterloo

The Waterloo Bucks defeated the St. Cloud Rox 7-4 Tuesday night in their 2016 season-opening game. The contest was delayed for over an hour due to rain before starting at 8:15 p.m.

St. Cloud's four-run rally in the top of the eighth inning put them within striking distance, but the Rox could not fully close the gap.

The Rox are in Waterloo again Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 on AM 1390 The Fan, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:35.

St. Cloud's home opener is Saturday night at Joe Faber Field.
