Park’s Slam Pushes Twins Past Rays

The Twins topped the Tampa Bay Rays 5-4 Sunday afternoon in Grapefruit League action at Charlotte Sports Park.

Byung Ho Park hit his first home run since coming to the Twins from South Korea, a towering blast in the top of the first inning. Kyle Gibson picked up the win after tossing two scoreless innings.

The Twins will play at the Orioles Monday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
