The Twins lost 16-5 to the New York Mets Friday night on a cold snowy night at Target Field.  Vance Worley threw just 1 inning with 7 hits and 7 earned runs allowed to take the loss.  Pedro Hernandez relieved Worley and threw 4 1/3 innings with 1 earned run allowed.  Joe Mauer was 2-3 with 2 runs scored, Justin Morneau was 2-4 with 1 RBI and Ryan Doumit added a 2-run single.

The Twins are 4-6 and will host the New York Mets again today at 3:10, pregame on WJON at 2:40.  Lefthander Scott Diamond makes his first start of 2013 for the Twins and righthander Matt Harvey (2-0) toes the rubber for the Mets.
