One of the things I do love to do, even since I was a kid is to go to the zoo.  It's fun to see the animals, and now with the Minnesota zoo, the animals basically in their own habitat is really cool.  When I was a kid, there was just the Como Zoo which had the animals mostly in cages.  I think that may have changed now, but that was what it was then.

Now, heading out to the zoo in the twilight hours of the day might be even better.  Or at least bringing a new "light" for your viewing and experience.

Starting June 3 and continuing throughout the Summer to August 2nd, the Minnesota Zoo has the Wanderlight Trail.

Step into Wanderlight Trail—an all-new, immersive evening experience at the Minnesota Zoo. As the sun sets, a glowing twilight journey comes to life with larger-than-life lanterns inspired by animals from around the world. Wander at your own pace, take in each illuminated moment, and make your summer night shine a little brighter

This is going to be a very special and a unique way to enjoy what the Minnesota Zoo has to offer.

Tickets are on sale now for members.  If you are not a member, it is easy to become one.  Just follow this link.  Tickets for everyone else go on sale this Friday at 10am.  There are a few options for tickets and pricing too. Just depends on what your needs are.

• General Admission Tickets
• Fast Pass Tickets
• Specialty Nights
• Group Tickets

General Admission Price: $26-$30

The great thing about this experience is that you can wander through at your own pace.  You don't have to feel rushed, just enjoy the immersive experience.  This is a great family event, and so many times to enjoy the exhibit since it runs for two months.

Head to the Minnesota Zoo website for more information.
