The St. Cloud State Huskies baseball team swept the University of Minnesota Duluth Wednesday at Joe Faber Field. The Huskies took game one by a 3-2 final score, then walked off with a 5-4 win in game two.

Zach Metzger hit a three-run blast in game one to pace the Huskies offense, and Reese Gregory picked up the win with 5.1 innings of strong pitching to improve to 4-0 on the season. The start was Gregory's first in almost two months due to "dead arm."

In game two Gregory blasted his 16th home run of the season, which broke the single-season SCSU record of 15, shared by Jordan Smith (2010) and Zak Hoffman (2015).

The Huskies improve to 36-6 overall (21-6 NSIC) with the wins and will wrap up the regular season with a pair of doubleheaders at Minot State on Friday and Saturday.
