The College of St. Benedict volleyball team has picked up where they left off after a very successful 2012 season where they fell in the MIAC Championship match to St. Thomas. The Blazers have started 2013 with an 11-0 record and are currently ranked #10 in the country.

Coach Nicole Hess is in her fourth year as head coach of the CSB volleyball team. She says it is nice to get the recognition that comes with such an honor, but also says it's important for the team to stay focused.

Hess says that a main key to success this season has been her players' ability to focus on one game at a time, which helps keep them from being overwhelmed by the rigors of the season.
