High School sports recap for Friday, November, 17, 2023.

Former Becker football player Dillon Radunz is projected to be selected as early as the first of the NFL Draft, which begins Thursday night. Radunz is an offensive lineman who played left tackle in high school for the Bulldogs and collegiately at North Dakota State.

There are a number of games on our airwaves Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from college hockey to NFL football. Here's a look at what to listen for this weekend.

Saturday's high school sports results from around central Minnesota

Grimit spent 27 years coaching at St. Cloud State with the football and wrestling teams. Most recently, he was the defensive line coach under Scott Underwood before SCSU dropped its football program.

SCSU head coach Scott Underwood joined WJON's "Hang Up and Listen" Thursday to recap the win over the Beavers, discuss former Tech wideout Darian Washington's breakout game, talk about his seniors and preview the Dragons.

The Apollo Eagles will look to snap a six-game losing streak Wednesday night when they travel to Cold Spring to take on the 5-2 Rocori Spartans. The game can be heard on AM 1390, Granite City Sports.

The fall sports season is in full swing, with soccer and volleyball team well into their schedules. Thursday also sees the dawn of the 2019 football season, with Rocori hosting Fergus Falls in Cold Spring and Cathedral playing host to Spectrum at St. Cloud State University.
