NEW YORK, NY -- The 2016 NFL regular season schedule has been released and the Minnesota Vikings have several nationally televised games.

- The Vikings will play their first regular season game at U.S. Bank Stadium against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football in Week 2.

- Minnesota will play on Thanksgiving Day (November 24th) for the first time since the 2000 season (a 27-15 win over the Dallas Cowboys). The Vikings and Detroit Lions will play the Thanksgiving kickoff game starting at 11:30 a.m.

- The Vikings will continue their holiday games on Christmas Eve against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

- In all, Minnesota will play five primetime games, including two Monday Night Football games, in 2016.
