It appears that Jason Zucker was not seriously injured after taking a vicious hit to the head from the elbow of Anaheim's Corey Perry Tuesday night.

Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker skated by himself after the Wild practiced at the Xcel Energy Center, just one day after being helped off the ice due to a nasty hit from the Ducks' Corey Perry.

In the second period Tuesday, Zucker dumped the puck off and it caromed toward the blue line, with Zucker heading toward the corner. As he turned to go up the ice Perry hit Zucker full force with his elbow contacting the helmet of the Wild forward.

Zucker lay on the ice for several minutes before coming to his feet, and was helped off the ice. Perry was assessed a game misconduct.

In addition, the NHL announced the Perry will be suspended for four games as a result of his hit on Zucker. It will cost the Anaheim forward over $115,000 in salary.
