The Timberwolves didn't get the first overall pick in the NBA draft lottery last night.  None of us are shocked by this because they've never gotten lucky and improved their draft position.  Cleveland got the top pick and they also have the #4 pick.  The Cavs will likely take Duke point guard Kyrie Irving but maybe they'll look at their options and take Arizona forward Derrick Williams #1 and still get point guard Brandon Knight of Kentucky at #4.  The Wolves could then take Irving #2.  Cleveland could also pass on Irving because they brought in point guard Baron Davis last season could use some help at forward with the loss of Lebron James before this season.  It still seems unlikely that Cleveland will pass on Irving but I'm saying there's a chance.
