The Charlotte Hornets topped the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-98 Sunday afternoon at Target Center in Minneapolis. The Wolves are now 15-54 on the season.

Minnesota again played with only eight players, as did Charlotte. Seven of those players for the Wolves scored in double figures, led by Gorgui Dieng with 16 points. Kevin Martin added 15 points and dished out nine assists.

Former Timberwolf Mo Williams paced the Hornets with 24 points off of the bench on 10-16 shooting.

The Wolves are at Utah on Monday night (7:30, WJON).
