MINNEAPOLIS -- Kevin Love scored 29 points and had 16 rebounds to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves past the Portland Trail Blazers last night in Minneapolis.

Luke Ridnour finished with 22 points and Wes Johnson had 19 in the 106-94 win.  Johnson went 3-4 from three-point range.

The Trail Blazers were led by LaMarcus Aldridge who scored 22 points.

With the win, the Wolves improve to 21-19 on the season and move into the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference playoff race.

Next up for the Wolves are the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night at Target Center.
