The Timberwolves ran their record to 3-0 on the season with a 109-100 win over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Minnesota used another huge first quarter to pace the victory, this time scoring 40 points in the opening period.

Kevin Love had another monster game for Minnesota, scoring 34 points and pulling down 15 rebounds while dishing out five assists. Ricky Rubio had ten assists to go with eight points, and Nikola Pekovic added 11 points and ten rebounds.

The Knicks were led by Carmelo Anthony with 22 points and 17 rebounds.

The Wolves are at Cleveland Monday night.
