The Denver Nuggets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-99 Thursday night at Target Center. The loss drops the Wolves to a disappointing 1-3 on the season.

Minnesota followed their typical script, jumping out to a 12 point lead in the first quarter, and holding a six point lead at the half. However, the Wolves faded in the third quarter and were outscored 33-14.

Karl-Anthony Towns paced Minnesota with 32 points and 14 rebounds, and Andrew Wiggins poured in 25 in the loss.

The Wolves play at Oklahoma City on Saturday.
