Tech graduate Nate Wolters was named Summit League Tournament MVP after leading SDSU over North Dakota State Tuesday night.

Nate Wolters scored 27 points with six rebounds and six assists to lead South Dakota State to a 73-67 win over North Dakota State. The Jackrabbits earned an NCAA Tournament bid with the win.

Wolters struggled a bit in the first half, scoring just nine points with the Bison defense clearly focusing on stopping the SDSU star guard. The Tech graduate shot 8-15 from the floor and 9-10 from the free throw line.

For the season, Wolters averaged 22.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.
