Winona State Takes Down SCSU Men’s Basketball 89-68

WINONA - The St. Cloud State men's basketball team fell to the Winona State Warriors 89-68 on Friday night at the McCown Gymnasium.

St. Cloud State shot 42.1 percent in the contest. Matt Craggs and James Fort both scored 13 points to lead the Huskies. Craggs also picked up seven rebounds.

First-year forward Seth Mortag scored a season high nine points for SCSU off the bench.

With the loss the Huskies fall to 16-7 overall and 12-7 in the NSIC. Winona moves up to 21-5 overall and 16-3 in the NSIC.

St. Cloud State looks to rebound on Saturday night when they take on Upper Iowa.
