DALLAS, TX -- The Minnesota Wild won their second straight game, beating the Dallas Stars 2-1 in a Saturday matinee showdown.

Early on, the Wild appeared to be struggling again on offense - trailing 1-0 late in the second period.

With less than five minutes remaining in the period, wing Erik Haula scored his second goal of the season and tied the game.

Just 40 seconds into the final period, the Wild took the lead on Mikael Granlund's second goal of the season.

Wild goalie Darcy Kuemper continued his strong season, denying the Stars on 27 of their 28 shots on goal for the game.

With the win, Minnesota improves to 9-7 on the season and look to continue their winning ways tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. in Winnipeg against the Jets.
