ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild could not keep up with the scoring barrages of the Anaheim Ducks in last night's 5-4 loss.

The Wild came back from a three-goal deficit in the second period to take the lead, but two late Anaheim goals in the third iced the game.

All five of Anaheim's scores came with goalie Darcy Kuemper between the pipes.

The Wild's second period comeback came about as goals by Mikko Koivu, Zach Parise, and Jonas Brodin tied the game at 3-3 before the final period.

The Wild took a 4-3 lead on Justin Fontaine's second goal of the season two minutes into the final period.

However, a goal by the Ducks' Tim Jackman tied the game just 90 seconds later and Matt Beleskey scored the eventual game-winner midway through the period.

With the loss, the Wild fall to 14-10-1 on the season.

The Wild's next game will be on Tuesday night against the New York Islanders.
