The Minnesota Wild fell 7-3 to the Nashville Predators Sunday night in their regular-season finale at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild will open the playoffs Thursday night at Colorado.

Erik Haula and Jason Pominville scored first period goals to give the Wild a 2-0 lead before Richard Clune scored at 14:57 for the Predators to make the score 2-1 at the first intermission.

Zach Parise scored on a power play just 2:10 into the second period for a 3-1 lead, but Nashville scored four unanswered goals to close out the second and take a 5-3 lead. The Predators added two more goals in the third period for the 7-3 win.

The Wild finish the regular season with a 43-27-12 record and 98 points.
