The Minnesota Wild defeated the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 in a shootout Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild win stopped a seven game Vancouver winning streak.

Zach Parise was Minnesota's lone goal scorer until 8:47 of the third period when Charlie Coyle tied the game at two. Jason Pominville was the lone goal scorer for either side in the shootout to give the Wild the victory.

Minnesota is in Pittsburgh Thursday night to take on the Penguins at Consol Energy Center.
