DENVER, CO. -- In a rematch of last season's exciting Western Conference Quarterfinals, the Wild blanked the Colorado Avalanche, 3-0.

Minnesota got goals from Jason Zucker in the first period, Charlie Coyle in the second, and Zach Parise in the third.

Darcy Kuemper stopped 30 shots against the high-scoring Avalanche, notching his second shutout in as many games this season.

The Wild improve to 2-0 and have outscored their opponents 8-0 in the two games.

Minnesota is off until Friday when they will lace up their skates in Anaheim to take on the 1-1 Ducks.
