The Minnesota Wild have sent prospect Mikael Granlund to Wild minor league affiliate, the Houston Aeros of the AHL.  Granlund had 1 goal and 5 assists while playing in 19 games for the Wild this season.  The Wild needed to clear space for Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Granlund hasn't contributed as much as they had hopes so far this season.

The 20-year Granlund is still considered by some to be the best prospect in the Wild organization.  The Wild host Anaheim at 7pm tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:30.
