The Wild fell to the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 in a shootout Saturday night at the Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild took a 1-0 lead into the first intermission thanks to a Pierre-Marc Bouchard redirection of a Brett Clark shot at 15:59 of the opening frame. Jason Pominville also got an assist on the goal.

The Blue Jackets scored a pair of goals in the second period just minutes apart to take a 2-1 lead into the locker room.

Pominville struck on a power play with just over three minutes remaining in regulation to eventually send the game into overtime.

The Wild were outscored 2-0 in the shootout. The Wild now have 47 points, which puts them seventh in the Western Conference with three teams tied at 45.

The Wild have seven games remaining beginning Monday night at Calgary.
