Wild Host Hurricanes Thursday Night At Xcel Energy Center

The Minnesota Wild are looking for back-to-back wins when they host the Carolina Hurricanes at Xcel Energy Center Thursday night (6:30 PM, WJON). The Wild shut out Nashville Tuesday night at the X 2-0.

Minnesota will be without stud defenseman Jonas Brodin, who suffered a broken cheekbone when he took a puck to the face early in Tuesday's win. There is no timetable for his return.

Carolina is 4-2-3 this season and have not played since Saturday when they beat the New York Islanders 4-3. The Wild are 4-3-3 so far this season.
