MONTREAL -- After a hot start to the season, the Minnesota Wild have lost their third straight game - the latest, a 4-1 shellacking by the Montreal Canadiens.

After tying the game at 1-1 in the second period on Jason Pominville's fourth goal of the season, the Canadiens scored three unanswered in a game that seemed to snowball out of control for goalie Darcy Kuemper and the Wild.

Sine their 4-1 victory over Dallas on November 1st, the Wild have been outscored 11-2 in the past three games to drop to 7-6 on the year.

The losing streak coincides with team leader Zach Parise being on the disabled list since getting injured in Thursday's loss to Pittsburgh.

The Wild will try to right the ship on Tuesday as they travel to New Jersey take on Parise's former team, the Devils.
