CHICAGO - The Minnesota Wild had a convincing 5-3 victory over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks last night.

The Wild got two goals from Jason Pominville. Zach Parise, Kyle Brodziak and Justin Fontaine also scored in the action.

Minnesota is now 6-3-3 this season and pulled even with Chicago in the central division with 15 points.

The Wild and Blackhawks will have a rematch Monday night at the Xcel Energy Center. Game time is set for 7 p.m. CT.
