The Minnesota Wild came back to tie the Chicago Blackhawks halfway through the third period, but fell victim to a questionable call and subsequent power play goal in a 5-3 loss Tuesday night.

The Wild trailed 3-1 heading into the third period before Nino Niederreiter and Marco Scandella scored to tie the game for Minnesota.

A questionable hooking penalty called against the Wild's Erik Haula led to a power play goal from Chicago's Patrick Kane at 16:32 which would prove to be the game-winner.

The Wild host Boston Wednesday night (6:45 on AM 1390 The Fan).
