The Minnesota Wild were shut out by the Ottawa Senators 3-0 at Xcel Energy Center Tuesday night. Minnesota was outshot by the Sens 32-27.

Clarke MacArthur’s power play goal at 13:06 of the opening period gave Ottawa a 1-0 lead at the first intermission. Neither team scored in the second period.

Erik Condra scored an even strength goal at 5:55 of the third period to make the score 2-0 in favor of the Senators, and Kyle Turris capped the scoring with a power play tally at 17:38.

The Wild remain in eighth place in the Western Conference and will host Edmonton Thursday night in St. Paul.
