The Minnesota Wild begin a west coast road trip Thursday night with a game in San Jose against the Sharks. It is the first game for the Wild since their New Year's Eve loss to Columbus which snapped a 12-game win streak.

The Wild are looking to avoid their annual January swoon with a strong start to the month. Last season Minnesota went 3-7-3 in January, and had an eight game losing streak that began at the end of the month and went into February.

Tonight's game can be heard on AM 1390 KXSS, with pregame coverage beginning at 9:15. Puck drop is slated for 9:30.
