GLENDALE, AZ -- The Minnesota Wild won a hard-fought game against the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 in a shootout Saturday night.

Nino Niederreiter landed the first blow - scoring his 13th goal of the season in the first period.

The Coyotes answered back with two goals of their own before Jason Zucker tied the game for the Wild with his 11th goal of the year.

Minnesota trailed by one late in the final period before Zach Parise tied the game with a power play goal.

Parise netted one again in the shootout but the winning shot came from Mikko Koivu in the third round of the sudden death contest.

With the win, Minnesota moves to 16-11-1 on the season.

The Wild will play the rival Blackhawks in Chicago on Tuesday night.
