The Twins lost 3-0 at Chicago against the White Sox Monday night to begin a 3-game series.  Mark Buehrle threw 7 2/3 innings with 4 hits and no runs allowed to get the win.  Kevin Slowey allowed 6 hits and 2 earned runs in 7 innings to take the loss for the Twins, he's 0-3.  Minnesota managed only 4 hits for the game.  Tsuyoshi Nishioka was 1-1 with 2 walks for the Twins.  The Twins played without Joe Mauer (neck strain) and Justin Morneau (sore shoulder).  Mauer has been out since last Tuesday.

The Twins play at Chicago against the White Sox again tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Anthony Swarzak (3-4) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Zach Stewart (1-3) toes the rubber for the Chicago.  Minnesota is 56-78 and is just 1/2 game better than Kansas City to stay out of the cellar in the American League Central.
