The White Sox beat the Twins 8-6 Tuesday night despite holding 3 run leads twice in the game.  Minnesota led 3-0 and 6-3 before allowed 5 unanswered runs.  Jason Kubel hit a 3-run homerun and Joe Mauer was 2-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs for the Twins.  Michael Cuddyer went 2-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI for Minnesota.  Anthony Swarzak threw 4 1/3 innings with 6 hits and 6 earned runs allowed to take the loss.  The Twins are 56-79 and are 18 games back of Detroit for first place in the American League Central.

Minnesota has lost 9 of their last 10 and will play at Chicago to close down the 3-game series at 1:10 this afternoon, pregame on WJON at 12:40.  Lefthander Scott Diamond (0-2) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Jake Peavy (6-6) toes the rubber for the White Sox.
