White Sox Beat Twins 8-2 Wednesday

The Twins lost 8-2 in Chicago to the White Sox Wednesday afternoon and were swept in the 3-game series.  Chicago scored 2 runs in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th innings and cruised to the win.  Denard Span was 2-4 with a run scored for the Twins.

Nick Blackburn allowed 10 hits and 8 earned runs in 4 1/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 4-6.  The Twins are off Thursday and will play Cleveland at Target Field beginning a 3-game series Friday night at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Minnesota is 40-58 on the season.
