Want Some Positives? Look Local

With the Twins struggling and coming off a disappointing winter sports season from the Timberwolves, Wild and Gophers we need something positive on the sports scene.  Look local to Sauk Rapids-Rice, Apollo, Rocori and Cathedral baseball.  All 4 have a shot to make a run at the state tournament and Cathedral had been ranked #1 in the state in Class 2A.  The Rocori softball team is 13-3 overall and Tech boys tennis is 13-0.  How 'bout the St. Cloud State baseball team who has set a school record with 42 wins and will host the NCAA Division II Central Regional this week?  We also have youth baseball teams that compete for state and regional titles on a regular basis like the St. Cloud Blue Sox and the Waite Park Silverstars.  When the Twins arn't winning it stinks but if you look you can find a winner to hitch your wagons to.
