With their 23-20 overtime win over the Chicago Bears at the Metrodome Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings improved to 3-8-1 on the season.

That record gives them the sixth-worst mark in the NFL, meaning they would draft sixth if the NFL Draft were held today.

1. The Houston Texans are 2-10 and in the pole position. The Texas have experienced a quarterback carousel this season, benching veteran starter Matt Schaub in favor of Case Keenum to mixed results. Houston likely would select a quarterback at #1.

Remaining Schedule: @ JAX (3-9), @ IND (8-4), vs DEN (10-2), @ TEN 5-7)

2. The Washington Redskins check in at 3-9 on the season, but thanks to last season's blockbuster trade last year for the #2 overall pick (which turned out to be RGIII) with the Rams, it is St. Louis who would be picking second this year. The Rams have Sam Bradford at quarterback, who is owed $34 million over the next two seasons. Bradford has missed a majority of the 2013 season with a torn ACL, and it is not clear whether or not St. Louis would be interested in a QB in this year's draft.

Remaining Schedule: vs KC (9-3), @ Atlanta (3-9), vs Dallas (7-5), @ NYG (5-7)

3. Jacksonville has found some life of late by winning three of their last four games and checks in with a 3-9 record, "good" for the third overall pick. The Jags have not exactly been thrilled with former first round pick Blaine Gabbert and would most likely look to upgrade at quarterback with a high first round pick this season.

Remaining Schedule: vs HOU (2-10), vs BUF (4-8), vs TEN (5-7), @ IND (8-4)

4. The Atlanta Falcons are probably the most surprising team on this list, as there were high expectations for the Dirty Birds heading into 2013. Injuries to many key players, along with many key players having down years, has kept the Falcons from soaring this season. Atlanta still has superstar quarterback Matt Ryan at the helm, so a quarterback selection is unlikely for the Falcons.

Remaining Schedule: @ GB (5-6-1), vs WAS (3-9), @ SF (8-4), vs CAR (9-3)

5. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers appeared to be on their way to a historically bad season under head coach Greg Schiano when they got off to an 0-8 start. Since then, however, the Bucs have partially turned things around with wins over Miami, Detroit and Atlanta before a loss to Carolina sent them to a 3-9 record on the season. The Buccaneers parted ways with veteran starting quarterback Josh Freeman and have gone to Mike Glennon at QB. Glennon is 182-290 with 13 TDs this season after being taken in the third round of the 2013 draft.

Remaining Schedule: vs BUF (4-8), vs SF (8-4), @ StL (5-7), @ NO (9-2)

6. The Vikings are not doing themselves any favors lately, tying Green Bay in week 12 before beating the Chicago Bears in week 13 to improve to 3-8-1 on the season. The Vikings have been an embarrassment this year at quarterback, with Christian Ponder, Matt Cassel and Josh Freeman all failing to impress in stints under center. The Vikings would almost certainly take a quarterback this year with a high draft pick.

Remaining Schedule: @ BAL (6-6), vs PHI (7-5), @ CIN (8-4), vs DET (7-5)

7. Oakland (4-8)

Remaining Schedule: @NYJ (5-7), vs KC (9-3), @ SD (5-7), vs DEN (10-2)

8. Cleveland Browns (4-8)

Remaining Schedule: @ NE (9-3), vs CHI (6-6), @ NYJ (5-7), @ PIT (5-7)
