The Vikings closed the 2012 NFL draft Saturday by selecting 2 more defensive players.  The Vikings picked inside linebacker Audie Cole of N.C. State and defensive lineman Trevor Guyton of California in the 7th round.  Both players were expected to be drafted prior to the 7th round.  Minnesota also traded a 5th round pick for a 4th round pick with Detroit in 2013 and dealt a 7th round pick to Tennessee for a 6th round pick in 2013.

Minnesota closed the day by signing 15 undrafted free agents.  They are;  defensive tackles Chase Baker of Boise State, Tydreke Powell of North Carolina, and Terrell Resonno of Missouri, defensive ends Kevin Cyrille of Florida Atlanta, Eric Latimore of Penn State and Ernest Owusu of California, cornerbacks Bobby Felder of Nicholls State and C.C. Whitlock of South Carolina, linebackers Tyler Nielsen of Iowa and Corey Paredes of Hawaii, running back Derrick Coleman of UCLA, receiver Kamar Jordan of Bowling Green, guard Austen Pascztor of Virginia, center Quentin Saulsberry of Mississippi State, and offensive tackle Darrion Weems of Oregon.
