The Twins are going to miss Joe Mauer while he's on the disabled list.  With Mauer out a combination of Drew Butera and Steve Holm will be the catchers.  Neither Butera nor Holm are capable major league hitters and the Twins don't have better hitting option like they did last year.  When Mauer got hurt last year the Twins called up the Twins turned to Wilson Ramos and in past year's had the option of going with Jose Morales.  Ramos was traded to Washington in the Matt Capps deal last year and Morales was dealt to Colorado.  Butera is hitting .154, and Steve Holm was 2-8 at triple-A. Both are capable defensive options.  Other Catching options in the minor leagues include Rene Rivera at triple-A and both Danny Lehman and Allan de San Miguel at double-A.  Lehman is off to a good start hitting .462 in just 13 at bats.  We can only hope Mauer will return in just 2 weeks.
