Twins To Play Day/Night Doubleheader Thursday

The Twins had their game with Tampa Bay rained out Tuesday night and will make up for it with a day/night doubleheader Thursday.  The Twins are replacing making up Tuesday's game by adding a 7:10pm game Thursday.  The Twins will play the regularly scheduled game at 12:10 Thursday.  Minnesota will hope to begin the series with Tampa Bay at Target Field tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Lefthander Francisco Liriano (1-3) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Wade Davis (2-2) toes the rubber for the Rays.  Minnesota has won 3 straight games.
