The Twins will introduce outfielder Josh Willingham at a press conference today after signing him to a 3-year contract Thursday.  He passed his physical and officially joins the team.  Willingham hit .246 with 29 homeruns and 98 RBIs for Oakland in 2011.  The 32-year old will turn 33 in February and will likely play right field for the Twins.

The signing of Willingham will likely mean the Twins won't re-sign free agent outfielder Michael Cuddyer.  Twins General Manager Terry Ryan wouldn't rule out the return of Cuddyer though.

Colorado is aggressively pursuing Cuddyer in free agency.
