MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins finished off their series with the Angels who finished their sweep with a 14-4 shellacking at Target Field.

Twins pitchers allowed home runs by Mike TroutHowie Kendrick, and C.J. Cron.

The Twins' lone bright spot was rookie slugger Kennys Vargas hitting his seventh home run of the year, crushing a pitch that landed just rows from the top of the upper deck in right-centerfield.

The Twins mercifully get a day off tomorrow before starting a series with the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday night.
