The Twins topped the Tigers 6-2 Wednesday night in Detroit. Minnesota improves to 19-15 on the season with the win.

Torii Hunter started the scoring with a solo home run in the top of the first inning, and Joe Mauer hit a bases-clearing triple in the third inning to break the game open.

Other offensive highlights for the Twins included a three-hit game for Brian Dozier, and Aaron Hicks' two-hit game, which raised his average to .375 since being recalled from AAA Rochester.

Ricky Nolasco picked up his third win of the season after allowing two unearned runs on four hits over 5.1 innings. The righthander walked three and struck out seven.

The Twins and Tigers will wrap up their three-game series Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park. First pitch on WJON is scheduled for 12:08 PM, with pregame coverage starting at 11:30 AM.
