The Baltimore Orioles beat the Twins 6-1 Thursday afternoon to complete a 4-game sweep of the Twins this week.  Jo Jo Reyes threw 6 innings with 1 earned run allowed to get the win.  Francisco Liriano left the game early after 2 innings with a strained shoulder.  Liriano was placed on the 15-day disabled list after the game.  Anthony Swarzak allowed 8 hits and 5 earned runs in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss for Minnesota.  Justin Morneau went 2-3 with 1 RBI and Trevor Plouffe was 2-4 with a run scored.

The Twins are 55-75 and have lost 5 games in a row.  Minnesota will host Detroit beginning a 3-game series tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Lefthander Scott Diamond was called up from triple-A Rochester to replace Liriano and will get the start tonight for the Twins and righthander Rick Porcello (11-8) toes the rubber for the Tigers.
