The Twins snapped a 6-game losing streak with a 6-4 win over the L.A. Dodgers at Target Field Tuesday night.  Luke Hughes hit a 2-run homerun in the 5th inning to break a 4-all tie for the Twins.  Ben Revere went 2-3 with 2 runs scored, 2 stolen bases and 1 RBI and Jason Repko was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases for the Twins.

Brian Duensing threw 5 innings with 4 hits and 4 earned runs to get the win and improve to 5-7.  Joe Nathan threw a scoreless 8th inning before Matt Capps threw a scoreless 9th inning to earn his 12th save.

Minnesota improves to 33-45 and is 9 games back of Detroit for first place in the American League Central.  The Twins gained a game on everyone in the AL Central.

The Twins host the Dodgers again today at 12:10 to close out the 3-game series, pregame on WJON at 11:40.  Righthander Scott Baker (5-5) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Rubby De Le Rosa (3-2) toes the rubber for the Dodgers.
