The Twins cruised to a 12-2 win over the Chicago White Sox at Target Field on Thursday night. Minnesota improves to 10-12 with the win.

The Twins jumped all over Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale. The lefty allowed nine runs on nine hits and two walks in the game's first inning.

Brian Dozier went 2-5 at the plate for the Twins while Joe Mauer finished 3-5 with two runs batted in.

Trevor May earned the win for the Twins by pitching 5.2 innings in which he allowed ten hits but only two runs.

The Twins and Sox meet again Friday night on WJON, with Kyle Gibson starting for Minnesota opposite Chicago's Jose Quintana. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10.
