The White Sox beat the Twins 4-3 in Chicago Tuesday night. Minnesota falls to 64-86 on the season with 12 games left in the year.

Mike Pelfrey failed to pitch past the fifth inning and was pulled after 4.2 innings of nine hit, three run baseball. Pelfrey needed 96 pitches to record 14 outs.

Trevor Plouffe knocked in a pair of runs for the Twins, with Oswaldo Arcia driving in the third run. The Twins will wrap up their three game series with the Sox Wednesday afternoon at 1:10. John Danks (4-13) will start for Chicago opposite the Twins’ Scott Diamond (5-11).
