The Twins beat the Mariners 4-2 in Seattle Thursday night at Safeco Field in Seattle. Minnesota took three out of four games in the series with the M’s.

The Twins shook off a solo home run from Kyle Seager in the bottom of the second inning by scoring two runs in the top of the third inning. Minnesota tied the game when Sam Fuld scored on a throwing error, then took the lead on a sacrifice fly from Kurt Suzuki.

Kendrys Morales had a two-run double in the top of the fifth to give the Twins the lead for good.

Minnesota begins a three game series in Colorado against the Rockies Friday night. Kris Johnson will start for the Twins against the Rockies’ Jorge De La Rosa. First pitch is scheduled for 7:40.
